Ask for changes

Change words and sections by saying what you want.

Ask in plain words

Open your site and go to Changes. Under “What should we change?”, say what you want, the way you'd tell a person:

  • “Make the services shorter and friendlier”
  • “Mention free quotes”
  • “Add a section about our guarantee”

Then choose Make this change, or press Ctrl+Enter (⌘+Enter on a Mac). A change usually takes a few minutes, and your site stays as it is until it's ready. A request can be up to 1,000 characters.

Aim at a page or a section

To change one page or one section, choose it from Aim at, the chip that says The whole site, before you ask. On a site of several pages, each page is listed with its sections. You can also point at a section in the preview and choose Change this section, or choose Change this page beside a page in Pages. Otherwise a change can touch the whole site.

What happens next

Each change makes a new version, and the preview shows it right away. Visitors don't see it until you publish your updates.

  • Don't like it? Choose Undo on the newest change, or bring back any version in History.
  • If a change doesn't work, try again, or say it another way.
  • One change runs at a time. You can type the next one while you wait.

What it uses

Each change you ask for uses 1 credit, and if it fails, the credit comes back. Creating images uses credits too. Uploads, detail edits, restoring and publishing are free. See Plans.
