Publish your site
Choose your web address and go live.
Before you publish
Confirm your email first. We sent you a link when you signed up, and you can ask for a new one from your profile.
Publishing needs a paid plan, and each plan has a number of sites that can be live at once. If yours are all live, take one offline or choose more in Plan and billing. See Plans.
Read your site through in the preview, as a phone, a tablet and a desktop show it.
Choose your web address
Choose Publish at the top of the editor, and type the web address you'd like, in lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens. We check it as you type, and suggest another if it's taken.
“What visitors will find” lists your phone, email, hours and a way to call or book. Choose Add beside any that's missing to add it first.
Then choose Publish site. Publishing usually takes a few minutes, and you can keep working while it does. Once it's done your site is live, and anyone with its web address can visit it. Copy it, or share it where your customers look, like your Google Business Profile and social pages. See Add your site to Google.
Publish your updates
Changes you make after that are saved, but visitors keep seeing the live version until you choose Publish updates.
Pages and old addresses
Publishing puts every page of your site live at once. Each page has its own web address under your site's, and you can copy a live page's link from More beside it in Pages.
If you move or remove a page that's live, its old address keeps working: visitors are sent to its new address, or to the page you chose when you removed it. Until you publish your updates, the live site keeps the page as it was.
Take it offline
To take your site offline, choose Take offline in the publish panel or in your site's settings. Its web address stays yours for when you publish again.
You can't use your own domain yet. See Sites for how a site works.
