Who can do what on your team.
Everyone has a role
Everyone on a team has one role, and each role can do everything the role below it can.
| Role | What it can do |
|---|---|
| owner | Everything an admin can, plus billing and deleting the team. |
| admin | Everything a member can, plus people, activity and deleting sites. |
| member | Can build, change and publish sites, and manage submissions. |
| viewer | Can see the team's sites, but can't change them. |
Invite people
Admins and the owner invite people by email from People, and choose their role. The email links to a page where they join, with the account they have or a new one.
An invitation counts toward your plan's people until it's accepted. You can send it again or cancel it until then.
Change a role, or leave
An admin can change someone's role or remove them, up to their own role. Ownership moves only by transfer: the owner hands the team to someone else on it and becomes an admin.
Anyone can leave a team except its owner, who transfers ownership first. Invitations, joins, role changes and removals are all recorded in Activity.
